Church and Chrysalis
On the weekend of 31 January 1998, I participated in flight 18 of Alabama Young Adult Chrysalis at Camp Sumatanga in Gallant, Alabama. All I can say is I have never had an experience that has so changed my life. Christ has truly become the center of my life and I look forward to serving him and his people. Here in Pittsburgh, I am a member of the Episcopal Church of the Ascension. I am a member of the choir and regularly attend Sunday and Wednesday morning services. The church that I grew up in was also the Episcopal Church of the Ascension in Birmingham.
You can listen to one of my favorite passages of the bible: Matthew 11:28-30
Theta Tau
I am an alumnus of Kappa Beta chapter of Theta Tau Professional Engineering Fraternity. Theta Tau is the largest engineering fraternity in the United States. Even though I changed majors to economics, I valued the professional development and friendships that I had gained from Theta Tau. During my involvement with Kappa Beta, I served an unprecedented two terms as the treasurer of the chapter.
Study Abroad
During the spring of 1999, I studied at Turun Kauppakorkeakoulu, which is the Turku School of Economics and Business Administration in Turku, Finland. I have not yet had the opportunity to scan in any pictures from my trip, but I will post them on this web site as soon as I am able. While I was in Europe, I had the opportunity to visit Finland, Sweden, Estonia, Russia, Denmark, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Austria, Italy, Slovenia, Hrvatska (Croatia), Hungary, Czech Republic, and Poland.
Music
I've created a MIDI file based on Bach's Cantata 140 movement 4 (BWV 140). This is my first ever MIDI composition, and I am very proud of it. If your computer has sound capabilities, you can listen to it by clicking here.
